UP FOR ADOPTION

Help Find a Good Home for Bailey

Hello my name is Bailey. I'm a 6 year-old lab/greyhound mix. I have been in the PetSafe system for quite a few years now and am seeking the right forever home. Not to “toot my own horn” but, I really am a great dog. Fully house trained, great with other dogs, don’t mind cats, and love kids of all ages from 0 to 99!

I love my squeaky toys and stuffed animals and I never chew on other people’s stuff. I love to go for car rides, walks and anywhere you may be going. All I ask is that you don't leave me home alone, although I’m trying hard to work on my separation anxiety. My foster mom can now leave me home for short periods of time without me getting into things. I'm a very quick learner and would make somebody a great companion or therapy dog.

The PetSafe people that have been trying very hard to find me the right home had an idea. They think I would be a great dog for an Adult Foster Home or Assisting Nursing home. I’m very gentle and I know the residents and workers would love me! Maybe if there were someone out there that would be willing to show me how to pass that test thing to be a live-in therapy doggy. I know I’d do great!

If you think you can help, Please contact Dee. She’s the Canine Director for PetSafe Rescue Alliance. She can be reached at (231) 392-3126 / (231) 275-7601 or petsafedogs@aol.com or dee@petsaferescue.org. You can also come see me at the Traverse City PetSmart, Saturday noon to 7:00pm.

MINIATURE SCHNAUZER NEEDS NEW HOME
We rescued a lovely, older salt/pepper Miniature Schnauzer from the pound, but over time realize that we are not able to keep him.  We have a special needs child who is not able to form a healthy relationship with the dog.

The dog is completely housebroken, energetic and fun.  As are most schnauzers, he is very protective---even when he does not need to be. He is truly a sweet dog.

Due to lack of life experiences, he is not good around small children, but does well with older school-aged children.  Would also be a great companion for an older person.

Serious inquiries only. Please email smiles1252@sbcglobal.net
